Resorts can't pay for placement. Corrections are welcome and made promptly.

Our Rules
- Date what changes: Fares, room prices, road status and weather are always shown with a date or a clear source.
- Label the source: We distinguish official figures, published listings, news reports and traveller estimates.
- Say what we don't know: If sources disagree, we say so, as with Sajek's elevation. If we can't verify something, we say that too.
- Keep schema honest: Everything in our structured data is visible on the page.
- Don't sell rankings: Resorts and operators can't pay for a better position.
Our Sources, in Order of Trust
- Official notices: The Rangamati district administration (opens in a new tab) and the Bangladesh Tourism Board (opens in a new tab).
- National news: Reports from outlets such as the Daily Star, Dhaka Tribune, Prothom Alo and BSS.
- Published listings: Resort, booking and operator pages, for prices and contact details.
- Traveller reports: Useful for practical details, and labelled as such.
Road Status and Safety
The road status page shows the last date we checked. We can't monitor the road every hour, and access decisions can change within a day, so always confirm with the district administration, your resort and your driver before you leave.
Prices
We never present one price as the official Sajek price. The cost guide shows its assumptions, so you can replace them with your own figures.
Weather Data
Our live forecast comes from Open-Meteo (opens in a new tab), a weather model service, and updates about every 30 minutes. It isn't a guarantee of road or safety conditions.
Resort Data
Our directory is research, not a confirmation that a property is operating. Where we haven't verified a rating, price or phone number, we leave it out or say so.
Images
Some photos on this site are temporary sample images, and are being replaced with real photos of Sajek. Where a sample image appears next to a named place to stay, it's labelled "Sample photo", and doesn't show that property.

If you find a mistake, please contact us with the page and a source if you have one. We'll check it, and update the page and its review date if it's wrong.
