- Bus: A July 2026 listing showed about ৳850 non-AC to ৳1,500 AC, and in November 2026 our team found AC buses at about ৳1,800 each way. Older pages quote lower fares, so check the current route guide.
- Chander Gari: The Khagrachhari counter chart lists ৳8,000 for a same-day return, ৳9,300 for one night and ৳11,500 for two nights, per vehicle. News reports in September 2026 gave higher fares, so confirm at the counter. The jeep charts also add ৳20 per person and ৳100 per vehicle in Sajek, outside the fare. - Rooms: Listings vary widely by view and date. Compare options in the hotel and resort directory, or the Rangamati district's hotel and guesthouse page (opens in a new tab).
- Food: Budget for simple meals, or more at a resort. See the food guide.
- Buffer: Keep at least 10% extra in cash. Weather or road changes can add a night.
How to Save Money
- Travel with more people. Filling a Chander Gari is the largest saving available.
- Go on a weekday. Weekends and holidays usually cost more and sell out first.
